Foundations come in different types and shades. You have the cream, power and liquid foundation all in variety of shades to suit any skin tone. With a good and quality foundation, you can be sure of a flawless finish when blended properly with fingertips or applicator.
My favs are Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation and Mary Kay Foundation. These two liquid foundations control shine, mattify and refine pores leaving a natural seamless finish and ideal for oily skin. Mary Kay Foundation has thicker consistency which gives a full coverage than Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, although Mary Kay Foundation has medium coverage. So I apply less of Mary Kay Foundation to achieve a flawless finish.
The amazing thing about these two foundations is that they are affordable and most makeup artists in Nigeria use them. Although Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is the latest Foundation and Mary Kay Foundation has been Nigerian’s oldie but goodies.
From by experience as a makeup artist #mua, here are a few foundation substitutes especially if you are used to Mary Kay Foundation
